Raiffeisen Waren GmbH and BASF SE are hosting major field days in both Northern and Southern Hesse. Visitors with an interest in agriculture can expect a wide range of crops and targeted field tours.
Raiffeisen Waren GmbH from Kassel and BASF SE are once again organizing field days in both Northern and Southern Hesse this summer. On the extensive trial fields, experts from both companies will offer guided excursions through the fields.
The latest cereal varieties will be presented, along with tips on autumn sowing and optimal plant protection measures. Our expert advisors are happy to address individual questions and take regional conditions into account. In addition, there will be practical tips from everyday farming and plenty of opportunity for professional exchange among colleagues.
At the edge of the fields, breeders’ stands and an exhibition of the latest agricultural machinery will be presented at both locations. In Gudensberg, additional partners will also be exhibiting. Catering will be provided.
At the traditional field day in Gudensberg, proven elements will be retained. Knowledgeable visitors can once again look forward to in-depth guided tours through the crops. In close cooperation with the Schwalm and Korbach Young Farmers’ Associations, the event will be supported by these groups. The proceeds from food and beverage sales will be donated to the Young Farmers’ Associations afterward.
There will also be new features at the field day in Gudensberg: after the technical field tours, which this year will take place in the afternoon instead of the morning, visitors can look forward to music from a DJ and chilled drinks. If you like, it’s a kind of “after-work evening” that invites people to relax, socialize, and network.
At 6:30 p.m., the “Ährentalk” will take place – a discussion round with three well-known social media influencers. The title is: “Between TikTok and Tractors.”
