Energy for the future
In addition to established energy sources, we are gradually expanding our offering to include further energy and mobility solutions — including wood pellets, photovoltaics, HVO and, prospectively, hydrogen. In this way, we continue to develop our portfolio while combining practical supply solutions with economic viability and responsible action.
The roots of our energy business go back to the early activities of cooperatives in the late 19th century. Today, the energy division stands for a broad portfolio covering heating, mobility and electricity. With this, we supply and support households, businesses and municipalities with solutions that fit their individual needs.
Heating, electricity and mobility
We supply households, businesses and municipalities with energy sources for heating and mobility and support our customers with personal advice. Our focus is on proven solutions that match individual needs, technical requirements and local availability.
Our offering includes wood pellets, various heating oil qualities and alternative fuels such as HVO diesel. In addition, we can support energy-related topics such as photovoltaic projects — from initial consultation to on-site implementation.
Our solutions are guided by current technical developments, legal requirements and the needs of our customers. In this way, we help households and businesses find suitable energy solutions for their specific situation.
Mobility today and tomorrow
A significant part of our mobility business continues to be based on conventional diesel — a proven fuel that remains important for many businesses in daily operations. In addition, we are gradually expanding our offering to include alternative fuel options that may provide additional possibilities depending on the area of use, vehicle technology and availability.
These include HVO diesel and — depending on regional availability and technical suitability — Bio-LNG, Bio-CNG and, in the future, hydrogen. We see these options as additions to the existing range, not as a nationwide replacement.
At our filling stations, we supply agricultural businesses, craft businesses and private customers with various fuels. If required, delivery by tanker truck is also possible — depending on product, quantity and delivery area.

In addition to energy products, the Energy & Markets division also offers a broad range of products for the home, farm, animals and garden. In Raiffeisen markets, customers can find many everyday products — from gardening supplies and animal feed to items for the home and farm.
The product ranges are aligned with the needs of local customers and may vary depending on the location. In this way, our markets combine practical local supply with personal advice in the region.
